What server do I need?
Any Linux server with Node.js 22+. A basic VPS ($10-20/month from DigitalOcean, Hetzner, etc.) works great. We can also install on your existing infrastructure or home server.
What are the ongoing costs?
Moltbot is free (MIT license). You pay for: (1) server hosting ($10-50/mo), (2) AI API usage (Claude Pro $20/mo or pay-per-use). Our maintenance is optional.
Which messaging apps work?
WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Signal, iMessage (via BlueBubbles), Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Matrix, and Zalo. We configure whichever channels you need.
Is my data private?
